Stories Of Kadira, 11
“ Are you ready to run with Kadira? Read Kadira’s story to find out what caused her to feel sad and depressed at school. ”

“Parents who see their children acting sad or unusual should always ask them what’s wrong. That is what my parents did for me when I became sad and depressed, because I was getting bullied at school.

I was 10 years old when a girl in my class used to throw things at me, shout at me and call me names. It would happen in the classroom when the teacher wasn’t around. It happened a lot. I told the teacher many times, but nothing changed.

It made me feel like I was nothing to anyone else.

I would like to tell other children that they should never listen to the bullies. I feel it is important to share my story because I don’t want other children to feel depressed or sad like I did.”

Kadira, 11, lives in Sabah and she wants to be a professional golfer when she is older. She has been golfing for 3 ½ years.
